This contemporary home in Indooroopilly, was designed and built to make the most of a narrow restricted sloping site in the most cost effective manner. We employed the clever use of a transitioning slab on ground to suspended floors over a sloping site before making a minor step down to an elevated backyard.
This approach meant that the owners benefited from having the ground level, which was all living being practically on one level, contrary to the sloping site.
The build used a mix of traditional building materials and elements in conjunction with commercial glazing elements, bespoke metalwork, used in stairs and the balustrading, and featured masonry blockwork.
