Raising a Queenslander

A house raise and build under, with double carport whilst maintaining the character of this Queenslander. Due to the staged nature of the renovation and to maximise the internal footprint of the ground floor a separate external double carport was created.

Critical to the success of this arrangement was the carport didn’t detract from the charm and street appeal of the house. By having separate car accommodation to the footprint of the house we were able to add two additional bedrooms, office, laundry, bathroom and a second large living/rumpus room without any further additions.
